“It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To” is easily one of the best, if not the best episode of Being Human’s second season.

Season two of Syfy’s hit Being Human will come to a close next Monday. The season has had its highs and lows, but for the most part it has been solid. I look forward to the season finale as it has much potential, but I will be sorry once it passes for it means another 8-9 months with out the series.

Season two of SyFy’s Being Human has continued to progress nicely. While I was unsure of the path the season was taking early on, I have been quite content with the way the story has turned lately. “Don’t Fear the Scott” adds another layer of complications to the roommates’ existances.

“Dream Reaper” offered one of the best episode’s of SyFy’s Being Human this season. The episode followed Aidan and Josh as they try to save Sally from herself. The relationship between the roommates is pushed to the test as they must fight to survive and stay alive.

Jay Baruchel on Being Human? as an old friend of Josh? Yes, and yes!

“Donna Martin Graduates!”
Never did I expect to hear a Beverly Hills 90210 reference on Being Human but there you have it. I wouldn’t have pegged Aidan as a fan, but I suppose when you are immortal stuck in a young enough age, you cross pop culture time and again.

“Mama Said There’d Be Decades Like These” delivered one of the best episodes of Being Human’s second season. The three roommates finally have a few scenes together throughout the hour and Bishop is back. Mark Pellegrino was a great addition to the show’s first season, and I’ve missed his character very much.

Season two’s theme of “temptation” begins to be explored with greater depth. All three roommates are tempted by something or someone, and fall prey to that seduction.

Being Human’s all new episode “(I Loathe You) For Sentimental Reasons” had both high and low points. As a whole the episode was good, however, not as interesting and exciting as some weeks.

Three episodes into the second season and I finally found an episode I loved. “All Out of Blood” offered great acting and writing. This is what I’ve been waiting for.
