I can’t believe the2 Broke Girlsseason finale is already upon us. It doesn’t seem possible. This freshman CBS comedy has been a great addition to their successful line up. I look forward to seeing what laughs and tricks the girls bring to their sophomore season in the fall.
Until then, I will have to enjoy the one hour two part finale guest starring Martha Stewart.

When Caroline uses the girls contact with Peach to get the cupcake business a new client, Max is less than thrilled by the result. Max doesn’t want to risk her job and relationship with Peach to further the cupcake business. She also is not a fan of the order requested by the new client, as buttercream frosting is a “bitch.”

Aside from the same scheduling complaints I have for Hawaii Five 0 (and all other CBS shows), “And the Drug Money” was a great episode of the freshman comedy. When Max and Caroline are in need of some quick cash, they enter a drug trial in order to make $500 each.

In “And the Spring Break” Caroline and Max take a break from the diner and life by spending a small vacation dog sitting for a rich gay couple in their lavished apartment.

“And the One-Night Stands” offered a delightful episode of 2 Broke Girls as Caroline and Sophie deal with their one night stands, and Max plans a birthday party.

2 Broke Girls honored Garrett Morris this week, by featuring the first Earl centric episode of the series. So far, Earl has been more of a background character, but it was great to see him a more significant role.

After a couple weeks on hiatus, 2 Broke Girls started off strong with “And the Blind Spot.” I have a few minor criticisms about the episode, but as a whole, the episode was well done.

When their neighbor upstairs is found dead, Caroline decides it’s time to meet the other people in the building. However, things don’t go well when she finds the man across the hall wearing a dog collar being pulled on a leash by someone off screen. Things get more uncomfortable when a new woman moves in above them. The girls are caught in a big misunderstanding when they assume their new upstairs neighbor is a prostitute.
While “And the Upstairs Neighbor” was quirky and had its moments, as a whole I wasn’t feeling it. It seemed to lack some of the show’s charm. Perhaps it was the predictability of the plot, but the episode left me unsatisfied.

After a very short winter hiatus, 2 Broke Girls returned with a busy episode. “And the Secret Ingredient” had its moments, but overall, the episode didn’t impress me. Between the many storylines being told, and the lack of connection I felt with said storylines, something about tonight’s episode left me wishing it hadn’t come back just yet. The freshman drama has been very successful thus far, so a few less than desirable episodes here and there are expected.
There were four stories being told throughout the course of the episode.
