Partial Eclipse of the Heart
Season two of Syfy’s hit Being Human will come to a close next Monday. The season has had its highs and lows, but for the most part it has been solid. I look forward to the season finale as it has much potential, but I will be sorry once it passes for it means another 8-9 months with out the series.

Season two of SyFy’s Being Human has continued to progress nicely. While I was unsure of the path the season was taking early on, I have been quite content with the way the story has turned lately. “Don’t Fear the Scott” adds another layer of complications to the roommates’ existances.

“Dream Reaper” offered one of the best episode’s of SyFy’s Being Human this season. The episode followed Aidan and Josh as they try to save Sally from herself. The relationship between the roommates is pushed to the test as they must fight to survive and stay alive.

Mama Said There’d Be Decades Like These
“Mama Said There’d Be Decades Like These” delivered one of the best episodes of Being Human’s second season. The three roommates finally have a few scenes together throughout the hour and Bishop is back. Mark Pellegrino was a great addition to the show’s first season, and I’ve missed his character very much.

Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?
I was somewhat disappointed with last week’s season two premiere of Being Human. I had hoped that this week’s episode “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” would bring the series back to the level I remember it being at. While the episode did improve from last week’s episode in some regards, it still wasn’t as good. My complaint last week, that the three roommates hardly had any screentime together, still holds true. While the first two episodes of season two have been good, they just haven’t been exceptional. I need to rewatch season one to see if my standards for the series grew during the 8 month break, or if season two is simply off to a rocky start.
